AGILE APPLICATION DEVELOPER

Position Description

We are seeking multiple Agile Application Developers to join our growing team supporting a customer in the Washington DC area! This is your opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies developing secure software and web applications.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in application development with experience in a fast-paced team environment. Experience with more recent/modern languages, tools, methodologies and concepts are a must. Must be driven and focused on improving your skills. Experience:

• Experience utilizing REST and SOAP APIs to implement COTS products into custom applications

• Object Oriented Development experience and fluency in 1 or more languages, frameworks, or CMSs such as Java, Drupal, Python, Node.js, PHP, Groovy on Grails, Ruby on Rails, XML. JSON, etc.

• Agile Development (Scrum, Waterfall, Incremental etc)

• Experience in a DevOps environment with continuous integration and deployment

• Experience with a wide variety of SDK’s and Frameworks

• Experience with code tracking/version control (i.e. Github)

• Knowledgeable of secure coding best practices

• Experience of using Business process management tools is desirable

• Experience securely integrating DocuSign, EchoSign, or E-Signature is a plus

• Experience with user-centric design, usability studies, and information design, and developing compelling user interfaces a plus.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired Education:

• Bachelor's Degree and seven years of experience or Master's Degree and five years of experience
